That was the phone call from my son at about 7pm this evening. I feel both guilty and pleased that he has rung to see me.

Guilty because I should be there for him, pleased that he is happy enough to ring.

I was working late as stbx has taken time off for 1/2 term so has had the day at home with the children. Find out when I get home she has taken them off to spend day with 2 separate friends and as far as I can tell she has done nothing all day.

But manage 2 hours of fun with them both before getting them into bed. I hope if the children are ever asked about their parents they will be honest

I contacted our old independent financial advisor over the weekend and asked if she could go over our pension info and give me some advice.
