Hi all, I have had a great 2 weeks away with the children and have thoroughly enjoyed their company in all sorts of activities.

We had a week in Devon - usual things, cycling, fishing, cinema, fish and chips on the seafront etc and then a week in the Canaries.  Pretty warm and sunny and they spent most of the time in the hotel pool and playing games, eating too much and then going to the evening show each night.  We got back very late last night and they were whisked off at breakfast time to stay with their grandparents for the next 2 weeks.

I felt really sad (and lonely) to see them go.  No

I have only blogged once so far this week, and its Sunday morning, I have had a nice lie in, breakfast, its sunny outside, I have nice day ahead, and this evening I will run around a plastic field kicking a ball with some blokes that I know, just because they have done this every week for the last 3 years or so with me.  I hardly know these guys yet we spend a couple of hours a week with each other, and we get on just fine.  The are all about my age, have kids the same age as mine, and I am sure have many of the problems that I do, yet our relationship is shallow and thats just how I like

I started my week with a letter from social services, advising that my husband has voiced his concerns with them over my parenting skills.  I sat at my desk at work infront of all of my workmates while a lady on the phone advised me that my husband has said that i beat the children and generally do not take care of them.  total rubbish, i love those kids more than life i would never intentially hurt them - ever.After the initial shock of how wicked and cruel he has been  i relalized that he is doing this as he is desprate to see our children.  This was confirmed when he visted the house while
