Didn't expect the wife I loved to get a new man at Christmas but I found out on Boxing Day and feel my life has been torn apart. So in the last six months I have managed to survive.

I got through Fathers Day, the childrens birthdays, Christmas and New Year so having faced the firsts of these occasions as a single parent I know anything is possible to achieve.

2008 holds many surprises I am sure..but when they come along I'll just have to tackle them. I hope my girls will look back with the knowledge that life did still go on and will continue to go on.

Spoke to my solicitor first thing this morning, which is an accomplishment on its own. Told her of the events of the christmas and new year period. I did not even have to use gentle persuation to get her to suggest that the application to the court was made for the injunction. She said that we would ask the court for a no notice order, which means he will be served with the injunction after the court has agreed it, he will then get a chance to answer it but the injunction will be in place as soon as he has been served. I needed to email her a statement of the abuse from day 1 to present time.
