Well today my Dad is coming to my rescue by paying off my solicitors bill to stop them from repossessing my house. To be frank i'm a bit embarrased that at the age of 40 I had to ask him for help.

This saga with my solicitor has been running for around a year and a half now. It began back in Dec 2005 when I approached them to help me with my divorce. To cut a long story short (you can read the detail in my older blog entries) they overcharged me for the work they did. I tried to dispute the charges and attempted to negotiate a lower bill. But they just refused to discuss it with me and

my partner has already started divorce procedings and his wife keeps prolonging things for no reason. First the used mediation and then she wasnt happy so they took it to court and she must have hired and fired over 8 different lawyers and then decided to do mediation again and then she (predictably) decided it wasnt good enough so she took him back to court and  she fired and hired another lawyer so she was able to extend the court dates so her lawyer can catch up. He is giving her the house and paying for her as she has no job and a 15 year old son but im really worried about who is going

Its been a year and 9months since i last wrote a blog on this site and still nothing has changed, my partner and his "should be by now ex wife" are still married and there is still no date for the final hearing, he has already given her everything and just wants a clean break so i dont understand why this is continuing? he has not had access to his kids since all this started as she wont allow it, we cant move on and find our own place til we know where we stand financally and its taking so
