Now that the menu has reappeared (thanks wikiteckie's) I can tell you about the weekend.
The children are with their maternal grandparents for 2 weeks as we are both working. As I may not see them until the end of the month I thought it would be good to see them both this weekend.
So a long trip (200 miles each way) and time with in-laws, 2 sisters in law and their husbands. Felt like it might be stepping into the lions cage but they were great, no blame on me, encouragement to sort things out as soon as possible and reading between the lines I think a great deal of frustration with stbx.
The children seemed very pleased to see me, lots of hugs anyway and seem to be enjoying their time with their cousins.
I think the whole event was more tiring than I expected as I felt very sleepy on the way home stopping for a quick kip at the services (how old am i getting!!)
When I got home stbx was out somewhere but had left a pair of overalls on the bed and a packet of polish fags in the kitchen. The detective in me thinks shes upto something - an affair with a polish plumber? Who knows, in fact who cares? I feel more relaxed to have seen the children enjoying their time away and having seen her family for the first time since this all started last november.

Hi Bertie, How many names have you got? So great to hear your weekend has been worth while, my STBX family are still nice to me but can not understand their daughter also like me. never mind a week of work and then saturday off to wales with the kids, it's going to be great. I have also managed to get a Wii so we are going to have fun whatever the weather, can not wait to see b'achs face when she see i've bought a wii, lol lol ho ho ho Anyway just to sign this one off in return. Whats dangerous, black and sits in a tree? a crow with a machine gun catch u later and enjoy the time with and without the kids Gareth |
