Well thought I'd hit the keyboard again tonight. Saw solicitor today and seems I should get a Separation Order soon rather than later. Also suggested documenting what has taken place in the last 2 years - I'll take some pleasure in that!!
I need to try and find the right moment to find out exactly what my wife wants when we split. I am a bit aprehensive since I am certain it will start off much ill feeling - doesn't money cause so many problems.
Anyway - I'll try and do this over the next few weeks or so and see where it takes me. I don't mind leaving the house eventually but the only thing I don't want to do is move into the flat she bought with my last settlement so that means she does or it is sold. Rented out at the moment and prices dropping fast so selling it may prove difficult.
Anyway - I do feel better having taken some control over matters at least.

I made a list of what I had to do, when we split, even shared it with her, ten followed it, every thing I ticked off was a step closer to the next chapter of my life, its not quite that straight forward, but it does give you a way to push on. That list contained some pretty scary stuff, but I knew we had to face into it somehow. Good luck GM |
