Update on AmandaPosted by wikivorce team in other, grief and loss |

Many of you have been asking how Amanda is and what you can do for her.
I have had a quick chat with her today. She is doing as well as anyone in such difficult circumstances could. I have passed on your love. She has read all the blog/forum replies and says that they have helped a lot.
She has family and friends with her.
I have thought about flowers. I hope you understand that dozens of bouquets may not be the most appropriate gesture.
So.....
I will arrange to send one bouquet of flowers to Amanda and one for Mark on behalf of all of us. If you have commented on Amandas forum post or blog I will put your name on the card.
And...
For those who wish to...in place of spending on flowers then feel free to make a small donation to one of the charities that Amanda supports.
And finally...
When she feels ready to return and is back on the forum, try to talk about normal wiki stuff with her - ask her a legal question - tell her a joke ... i know that what she would want is to have as much 'normal' interaction as possible.

Ian It is 02.10 on Mon 21/07 and I have just heard about Amanda, I am completely devastated. For someone to take their own life their must be a reason that only they will know. I met the guy at wki Lancaster and they looked so happy. I willl gladly give a donation to whatever charity and I also speak for Melissa who at this momement is unaware of this devastating news. Please give my our regards to Amanda and Olivia Helen and Penny xx |

What a lovely gesture. I am sure we are all thinking of Amanda at this sad time. Amanda always answered my posts/PMs with sound advice and put me back on track, I would now like to offer the my love and support in any way I can that will help.
