Just got paid 2 days ago - and already overdrawn. Paying 60% of my salary in interim SM each month is killing me. I am getting pretty miserable of living close to the bread line while she still refuses to work.
How can the courts justify giving her 100% of the realisable assets (FMH) and 30% of my pension. Leaving me with just 70% of a pension i cannot touch for 25 years plus over 40k in debts.
Also i continue to be denied any access at all to my son. Not contact, no phone calls, not even an email.
I'm pretty damn miserable today, not looking forward to the weekend. Sorry for burdening you with my problems. Just not coping too well at the moment. Can see myself losing my flat soon, haven't been able to pay rent for 2 months :-(

Hi DBNO Keep your chin up. No its not fair and I hope for your sake you get it all sorted out soon. I'm a year in but luckily should sign within next few weeks and absolute ready to go. I'm paying 58% atm which is hard but luckily have managed so far. The hardest part is the kids so I feel for you. My eldest is really off with me atm but youngest started staying overnight a few weeks back and is more and more relaxed and affectionate. That makes up for some of the unhappiness about eldest. Keeping fingers crossed for you. Have you anyone to help you? |

Hi DBNO! I cannot believe such a thing! There is no justification for the amount you are paying! It is absolutely scandalous! Personally me??? I'd stop paying, what are you exactly paying for? You are'nt allowed to see your child, your'e living on the breadline getting deeper and deeper in a financial mess? Whilst your ex2b cant even be bothered to work! I know what i would do in this position and thats tell her and courts to shove it! What else can they do to you? take you back to court for non payment? Surely then if they did you can have your say about how you are struggling! Come on matey cheer up, things could be worse!! (Although i dont know how they could be!) From all the replies to posts on here that you make, you are made of strong stuff, so dont let the b******s grind you down! It TAINT WORF IT! Kind ones Louise |

I have been to hell and back with my Witch of an ex wife but the positive is we are divorced! Now i am with someone i Love and am happy. I have had many days where i have been severly depressed but can now see light at the end of the tunnel. I am not going to tell you to 'cheer up' because that dont work. What i will say is that things do actually get better. I have children myself and can therefore empathise with your plight but can offer no advice. Regarding the money situation i agree with Louise...Cant pay wont pay. Hope you feel better tomorrow. |

I'm sorry DBNO Have you had a change of situation? it doesn't seem right and i assume if it's interim it's still up for debate. I agree with Louise you can't pay what you don't have, so stop and go to court to vary it. I hope it works life can feel so bad at times.x |
