Hello all you over in the UK... I have been looking and chatting with some of you for a few weeks now. What a terrific bunch you are. We dont have much of this in OZ.
Me, I have lived in parts of the Northern Territory -Alice Springs and Darwin for a total of 15 years, I moved to Hobart with family 2 1/2 yrs ago, and then I left X last November, we still live in same house for our two girls, one 13 one 15. I live in a S/C downstairs flat. Having a place built which is ready this October to move in with kids. X works interstate so not here 1/2 the time which suits me fine. Our arrangement is probably not that normal for most, we are great mates but just not really meant to stay together - no passion there at all. Just a good friendship which I dont want to lose altogether. X took this hard but over time has been great about it, which says realms about what a good guys he is. Same with all our family which is a blessing. It was a tremedously hard decision to make, but I ended up making it. It has been as you all would know, the most gut wrenching thing to do in your life. It has made me physically ill for the last 6 months - but it is getting a bit better. X and I both excercise a lot and do heaps with the kids (separately). They, thank god, with therapy are doing ok. Although the explosions from teens are usual, they are getting less and less.
Anyhow, thats enough from me. I will send some photos of my lovely Tasmania in time.
Keep in touch possums XXX
