Tomorrow see's two years since my mum passed away, and I miss her so much, like it was yesterday.
I wish in so many ways that I could turn back the clock.
I miss her giving me cuddles and stroking my hair, even in my 30's and telling me that everything will be OK. I miss her love and her advice, and speaking to her everyday, not for anything in particular just random chit chat.
I so wish that she was here now to help me through this crappy time I am having, as much as I love and adore my dad, he isn't my mum and he can never fill her shoes.
My mum is the only person I know who has been divorced, prior to meeting my dad, so I know that people can have successful relationships once the pain and hurt has died down. If she was here now she could be telling me whether what I am feeling is completely normal or if I am being silly.
So heres to you my darling mum, you are always in my thoughts and walking by my side. Guide me down this dark road, and help me find happiness again. I love you xxxxx

i miss my dad x his anniverary is coming up soon to, your mum will be willing you on to be strong from some where, where ever it is they go to, i know my dad is xxxx i blogged yesterday that i went to the crematorium for a `chat` with dad, it sounds a bit mad but made me feel so much better. big hugs, xxxxx | |

MrJane, I sympathise I honestly do. I lost my mum when she was far too young and I was nine months pregnant with my first child, which would have been her first grandchild. She missed him by 16 days. So I get exactly how much you miss your Mum in your troubled times, just take great comfort from the fact she lives on in you. Take care for now FoS x |

I lost my dad at 22 and miss him terribly too. Like you said Mr. Jane they are always by our side giving us strength and support. Take care. | |

I actually cried when I read that - for so many reasons. Whatever your beliefs, I believe your Mum is rooting for you somewhere. You clearly had a great relationship with her and that is a gift that does not stop with death. I'm sending a hug. | |

PS - of course I can't tell because I have not met you all - but I am guessing your Dad is missing you Mum too - knowing that she would know what to do and say, while perhaps he is doing his best and knowing it is not the same. | |

What a wonderful tribute to your Mum. Treasure those memories because they're priceless. Grieving for the loss of both loves is hard, so be gentle with yourself. Your Dad made your lovely Mum happy, so be grateful to him for that. There is only one Mum in your life and you had a great one. Take care. xx |
