So forgetful todayPosted by patti.p in other, my day today, moving on |
I was raised my my Sis, a chronic list maker. Since this whole mess has started, my memory has been a sieve. I still write lists, then I forget something, then a detail gets forgotten. Today was the worst. I deep cleaned the bathroom, getting ready to paint it, then I forgot to put the OH's grooming products back, & instead put only my things back. Then I forgot the bathroom was blue, & instead I only remembered the white paint. Then I forgot all about the heating, which I know I am not supposed to use as "we" can't afford it. I feel bad, I forgot & turned it on. That bottle of wine that I wasn't supposed to touch as it could be "given" to the MiL cos of how nice she is? Woops!!! Opened it, now in the fridge. The out of date lotions that were on his shelf, the ones that he swore he needed (but hasnt touched since he left)? Accidentally threw them away. And to top it off, I forgot to call him to ask him when he is coming over to do DIY! I hope my memory gets better before I forget and start buying myself new clothes, going to visit my friends around the world, saying yes to meeting new people, or spending money on myself. I need to remember to not forget!

| On the subject of solicitor letters, all they do is write what the other side tell them to do. It doesn't necessarily mean that it has got anything to do with the law. My ex once had a letter written along the lines of 'you can have all your stuff back if you pay me a couple of grand, or alternatively I keep the telly' (I paraphrase, of course...) My stuff was never worth that, and neither was the telly (!) Best, JJ x | ||

| IF HE wants the house on the market in the next 7 days get HIM to come and sort it out. Unless he gets a order to force a sale he can poke it. And getting it on the market is not a gaurantee it will be sold. JJ has a point, how much is he going to give you for white goods - TV, sofa's bed etc because you want it out of the house don't you ; - ) | ||
