Tonight my stbxs parents are coming to stay with us. This has been arranged for months because they moved to Greece a few years ago, the thing is my stbx has not told them that he is about to file for divorce so the situation is extremely awkward to say the least.

I have always got on well with both of them and have no problem with them staying, but how are we to act normally in front of them when we have hardly said two words to each other for two months?

Of course I cleaned the house thoroughly this week, I do seem to spend an awful lot of time cleaning these days! Only for my stbx to come

Soon to be ex husband  asked if we could talk last night, instantly I imagine that he wants to patch things up and I am already getting my hopes up, again.  No he wanted to say that he has divorce papers sorted etc etc.... hmmmmm.

I handled it well I think, and did not cry or attempt to get him to change his mind (I have done this several times in the past 3 years) Lots of the advice from this site kept me centred and mostly in control of my emotions.
