House moved finishedPosted by mike407 in my story, my day today, moving on |
After I don't know how long finialy handed the keys this evening to the estate agents.
Texted and then email X (STBx) that she still had stuff at the bottom of the garden to dispose of and reminder to hand her key in. Did a final check and her stuff was still at the bottom of the garden and she hadn't handn't her keys in either.
Did copy to her sol so she cann't say she didn't know.
Guess the stress of the last 6 months has finally caught up with me and now I've come down with a nasty bug ( Man flu (lol), so taken a few days of work to recover.
Wednesday nights are now my night with the boys and she decided that as she wasn't getting back from college until 8.30 there was no point in bringing the boys back at 8pm. So the extra 30 mins worked well with football training and geting evening meal ready and eaten and some time to play cards.
Funny how things jog you memmory as typing this the word "college" brought an odd occurance to mind.
STBx went to college for a couple of years and seriously blushed when bumping into a male instructor in the supermarket. Gets one thinking, but don't really care.
She's taken me to some dark places and now I'm (nearly) in the light and she cann't hurt me any more.
Had a fun even with the boys even though I'm feeling cr@p at the moment but in a few days that bug will be consigned to history as well.

Hi Mike! This is such a special blog for you. You've come a very long way and the journey's been rough but this is actually a very optimistic blog - well, I know you feel rotten at the moment but even the bug will be gone in a few days. The milestones sometimes come and go with no noticeable change, sometimes even feeling overwhelming sadness all over again, but gradualy you're moving forward to a new life. Letting go of the FH is a huge step and it was largely down to your initiative and hard work to get to this stage. Look forwards now and don't look back. Lots of good wishes for the future with your boys and hopefully someone who will appreciate you for who you are. Mitchum x |

Mike, Yes milestone passed. One thing I have noticed with the stress is that it seems to build up over time and if you are not looking after yourself properly, then you come down with something that makes the situation seem even worse. Things are moving on for you, so take a little time each day looking after yourself. Sounds like you are doing a great job to entertain the boys. Supercali xx |
