From time to time we get asked by members of the media if any of our
wikipeeps would be prepared to take part in media articles. We do have a
very strict media policy designed to protect our members but occasionally
agree to media requests that we feel are going to help promote the site and
offer advice/inspiration to others going through
separation and divorce.
These are the latest requests:
Request One:
I'm wondering if you can help me. I'm working on a feature for a young
women’s magazine about women who get divorced in their twenties and am
trying to find a woman who has had two divorces before she hit 30.
This is for a report about what it's like to divorce young, why
it's becoming more common and advice for other women who find themselves in
this situation. We would want to do a phone interview and use a picture in
the magazine.
Request Two: For another magazine.
I am looking for a fourth woman who has recently split up from her
partner or been made redundant or lost someone close to her and because of
this has transformed her looks ie dyed her hair from black to blonde, had
extensions put in, cut long hair really short, or something similar, and
now feels and looks great. The woman has to be aged between 30 and 55 and
be willing to be in a photo shoot at some point between mid-Oct and the
first week in Nov.
