Re:Image in post

How do you make a post with an image in it? I think i have followed what to do but when I click the preview it just shows a placeholder with no picture (a blank box with a red cross in the top left corner). Any ideas would be grateful.

Ive found that the preview doesnt show the image you have uploaded - you need to check once you have posted the actual post.

This is what you type in to get the above image:

Except replace ( with [
and replace ) with ]

i.e. If you use round brackets it shows the code (so you can see how it is written). If you use square brackets then it displays the actual image.

To discover the appropriate image link:
such as http://www.website.com/image.gif
you just find any image on a web page and right click on it and choose View image, then cut n paste the URL of the image
