Perhaps this is an indication of how I have spent far too long browsing wiki...but humour me while I ask the questions that keep coming into my mind

How does the whole 'boarder' structure work?

How do peeps get to become moderators and or TeamWikiAdmin?

And are the two questions related ie once you reach the pinnacle of boarder status, do you ease into being moderator and or TeamWiki or is it by invitation..or does Wiki just advertise!!

Don't worry I'm not seeking to apply for a job (was that a sigh of relief I heard) but it just intrigues me how peeps who are probably diversely located, perhaps never meet, and who I guess start out as support-needy as everyone else, become part of the infrastructure?

Anyway. I've asked now. Now I'll just go and see if I can Get A Life anytime soon....

And apologies if this gets Stupid Question of The Week Award. Perhaps its obvious to everyone else and as usual.....It's Just Me That Doesn't Get It.

The boarding structure - do you mean the junior/gold/platinum boarder thingy? This is determined by the number of posts you have written - your status changes in "steps" - once you written a certain number of posts, you are "levelled" up to the next status - with platinum being the highest. I cant remember how many posts takes you to gold (think its 100?) or platinum (500 or 1000, i think)

Ian [Mr Wiki] chooses the moderators - moderators and Teamwiki are the same thing really. I couldnt possibly say what Ian looks for in a potential new TW member (seeing as Im one ) - you would need to ask the boss

Although the TW members are diversely located and come from all walks of life, the main thing we have in common is that we have all been through the divorce process and are dedicated to keep Wiki the supportive, informative and helpful site it is - whilst continually working to improving it for everyone.

I have to say, now that I am approaching the final leg of my 'journey' (hate that) I can say that Wiki has been invaluable...in the scheme of (other people's) things my divorce has 'only' taken 18 months and we are still not quite there (hoping not to need Final hearing in July)) but the site has really kept me bouyant along the way. Friends and family are great but of course they are biased (lovely but not real) and wiki has given me realistic ­object­ives but also helped to focus on a positive outcome. I don't post much but read masses. The replies I have had have been great. Just great. Thank you.

Fingers crossed for your FH in July - its always good to know how members have got on, and more especially when they share their personal experiences as it gives others an insight into what they could be facing.
