Contravention of Resolution

As I have permission and so as to save thread space:

You have seen from my blogging Arnies tale of professional standards and false representation. You see how I have caught this particular solicitor "red handed" "in the headlights" "times up mate", yet no sanction or fine has ever been levied.
Is it me or is that not somewhat unfair and to the members of Resolution are you proud of your organisation, The director of standards explanation of membership and complaints procedure, and the current refusal to even acknowledge communications.If you call yourselves professionals than you should start acting as such.

When i posted this question the thread had received 614 views and at time of writing it was 662, which means 48 views, of which i guess a small percentage were legal professionals who are members of Resolution, indeed the main legal advice offered on Wikivorce proudly displays the Resolution badge.
That phone conversation on youtube quite clearly demonstrates the Director of Standards interpretation of the code of practice is largely ­base­d on ability to pay rather than adherence to the code of practice. People who are in divorce have the right to know exactly how that Code Of practice is being interpreted at the VERY top of Resolution, and by silent compliance all participating solicitors are equally as guilty.
I am interested to know when a complete partnership is a member of resolution what the cost and criteria are?

Arnie will shut up when professional people start acting like professionals, not forgetting to say some are already exemplary in their professional conduct.

You're posts fascinate me, but remain way above my understanding! (Still following though!)

Bottom line, I think if one hires a professional they expect that the person would carry out the function for which it was getting paid. Plumbers would stop a leak, electrician would mend the lights, dentists fill the cavity etc.

But this Law Business: hmmm... the single most expensive professionals I have ever had to commission in my life; and th attitude seems to be "cross my palm with silver, and I'll tell you something more"

Television regularly exposes rogue tradesmen, and Watchdog (and other Consumer Affairs shows) regularly expose companies on behalf of the domestic consumer. Divorcing couples are domestic consumers dealing with High Street professional; and judging by the dissatisfaction on this site; we're not getting the service we expect, and the fees are astronomical.

I THINK IT'S ABOUT TIME WIKIVORCE HAD A NAME AND SHAME SECTION: ie: if a 'consumer' is not happy with a service, we add the name to a Black List. Even e-bay now comes with a customer satisfaction rating, (and that's for buying bits of tosh off the internet) NOT handling the financial affairs affecting the rest of our lives!

If after a few years; the people of (say) Birmingham were so disastisfied with Messers LinemyPocket and Grabitall - they could warn potential new clients of the rubbish service; and then we may start to see some improvements.

could be marked with little gold stars.
I dont know the legallity of it all, surely though we have free speech in this Country??

I hate the fact that in my area people will be wandering into the solicitor I used totally unaware of their institutional third rate/slackness/negligence when just crossing the road would lead them to a much better deal.
