I think I just sent her (my solicitor) an email explaining my situation -
although she already knew things were not good financially for me and she
had tried to get some maintenance for me although in the end I had to go
through the CSA. She did agree to look at things on an "ad hoc" basis e.g.
the final
consent order and I paid separately for that.
I also wrote to my ex's solicitor to say I was self repping now and to
send any further correspondence to my home address.
If you do go
down the self repping route when you are trying to agree finances it is
best to have taken some
legal advice beforehand and know what you are
happy to accept.
