Hopefully someone can point us in the right direction.
My
husband divorced his ex wife and they signed a Consent Document. He sent
it in, to his wife's solicitor. He didn't have a solicitor. He also
didn't keep a copy of the Document, expecting them to have sent him a fully
executed Document at the end, with both their signatures.
Now
his ex is doing some backtracking on things they agreed, so we went to her
solicitor to request a copy of the fully signed document so he could have a
copy. Of course, being that he wasn't their client, they won't give him
ANY paperwork.
If he is the person on the document, isn't he
entitled to get a copy? How can we get a copy? Do we need to request it
from the court or are we just out of luck?
