Forseti is right. It depends on why you want to change your solicitor.
In my case it was because she was hopelessly slow: she would
promise to do things within a week and three or four weeks later I would be
still chasing her to do them and being charged for the phone calls in which
I did this.
If you are not happy with your solicitor's advice,
however, as Forseti says, it may just be that you don't like what the law
says. In that case the sooner you bite the bullet and work with what there
is the easier it will be, and changing
solicitors will just make you more
frustrated.
