Re:final hearing and self repping

Hi wiki's,

I have a final hearing approaching and am now self repping.

I know many of you have posted on reply to my other forum posts about this. And I have also been reading on the wikivorce divorce enquires pages on this website.

However, I would really appreciate any help and advice I could get. Especially from those of you who have self repped at a final hearing befor.

I have submitted statement 25 to court.

For final hearing what additional preparation do I need to make?

What does paginated mean? (incase other side doesn't do trial bundles)?

Where do I start in preparation work? Do I take the statement and expand upon that?

What headings should I use? or are they the same as statement 25

What kind of docu­meta­ry evidence is required (other than that supplied ib statement 25)

How do I ensure my documentary evidence is included (for example I know there are a couple of issues that stbx will question me on and I have docu­meta­ry evidence for)

Do I have to start with an opening statement to the judge?
How long do I get to question stbx for?

I am trying to prove that he has been 'hiding' things ­base­d on lifestyle and supposed lack of earnings. How would you word the questioning so as not to 'irritate' the judge.

Sorry so many questions but this whole thing is very daunting and other than Wiki, I am preparing alone.

Paginated = give each page a number, starting with 1 then 2 next 3 etc until the very last page.

it deals with contents - see also the Wiki library and advice/tips for self-reppers.

To ensure your documentary evidence is included, you put it into the bundle.

A single sheet of A4, listing the briefest summary would be a good idea. Essential details on the summary - case no, names, court, ages and birthdays of parties and children, what you agree on, what you don't agree on, what you want, what he wants.

This will include your and his assessment of finances.
