Re:hypocritical ex\'s

HI all and happy new year...


Some of you may know, I moved out of my GF's in september. Stayed at some friends for a while and now have my own house.
When i moved out I did want to stay friends and so she would still see my kids etc, but sour grapes and when I moved out, I didn't have much time, there was still a lot of stuff I didn't get, mostly kitchen stuff and as I subsequently found, all my xmas decorations, including kids stuff and stuff my mum had given me over the years.
I did text her in a pleasant manner and asked for any stuff I had left there were items I mentioned in the kitchen, she said she would have a look but then said already told you before, do not contact me again.

Latest is an email from her saying I have got a load of her jewellery and she wants it returned asap. not ASKING if i have it.
I have returned stuff I have found I have by mistake such as videos of her and previous partner etc, but other than the there is nothing, she has had her decs up over xmas and could have returned the stuff that was mine and the kids, but no.
Now this latest contact from her, I think its so hypocritical, i.e., she doesn't want me asking for my stuff but when she has lost something, thinks i have it and is quoting jewellery, she has had 2 boyfriends since me and so the number of people who have been in her house well, anyone could have taken it!

I have decided not to reply to the email, I suspect as many things there is more behind it.
I suspect the things were in her bedroom and I didn't go in there when I moved out as I believed everything was out of that room, like I didn't go in the loft, foolishly....

Oh what games they play! My ex asked via his solicitor for the return of his 18th birthday watch (gift from his parents)- unfortunately for him, his mother had noticed him wearing said watch- 6 months after he moved out!
