Matrimonial home 3 Months, 3 Weeks ago

Married for 25 yrs 2 kids both with me. STBX left UK to be with another
woman overseas. Have matrimonial home and a rental house in uk. Both in
joint names. First appontment judge asks to look for 3 suitable properties
for myself and children and 3 for STBX.
I would like to continue in
the current home. STBX does not need home in UK as he lives out of UK but
only visits children
Why then this procedure?
Also banks cannot
give mortgage capacity without a formal application

Presumably though he will need somewhere for the kids to stay when he
visits them in the UK?
How old are kids?
You need to
give more details about ages, incomes, size and value of current home,
value of other assets etc for someone to help.

Children 15 and 11. his income three times mine but overseas. he visits
only three times a year. Does he need to buy house for that
|

As YWS said you will need to provide a lot more information if you want any
meaningful answers.
If you want to keep the current home, how do
you plan to give him his share of the equity?
