pension share

Just a quick question.

Had my FH and awarded pension share of ex's pension. Order drawn up and signed by Judge that day. Ex wanted absolute same day, I asked barrister and Judge if I could do that as I thought the pension sharing had to be approved first, they said no as consent order and pension order signed already.

So I applied for and got absolute.

Just reading some things on here, have I done the right thing? Will I still get the order?

Don't think you have anything to worry about. His pension scheme would have been contacted re a share and it should be straightforward. The judge deals with this stuff all the time.

Had is right what you got was not a consent order it was a judgment so your absolutely fine, well done by the way
