CTEV statement - delay!

Hi guys! On searching the web for any info I can, have found your site to be most useful - thank you!

After being married for 20 years a separation has been agreed. CETV statements for both our pensions has been requested. We are both public sector workers. Is it correct that there is currently a block in force by government and no CETV statements are presently being issued? This is grim news if correct. Would anyone know when this block is likely to be lifted and how long we should have to wait for these statements. I'm desperate to get things moving -this was not good news for me. Any info anyone has would be great! Thank you.

More delay is just what you need????
You'll have seen the other posts - #217388 - no CETVs until the new rules are issued.
I think all public service pension schemes are still waiting for Treasury advice on CPI linking?

both me and my ex are public sector workers - his cetv was calculated (end of July) using the old rules - on the basis of an email explaining that new rules were coming into force and so long as he was happy to take a valuation on the old rules they would do it?

Don't know if this is an option for either/both of you but might be a quick fix.

Alternatively I don't believe it will hold up the proceedings if you just attach your request (and your ex does the same) to the financial proceedings. It may be the pension won't be an issue for either of you?
