court order vs mediation

However i laughed reading when you said, Preparing to listen to the other side.

My x is totally unreasonable to the core, a few examples.

1. We lived together for 3 years and the only time we had a meal together was when we first settled down and i took her out.

2. She used to be violent,and tried to break my groin a few times and despite the fact, i started to record incidents of threats, TO DATE. SHE WILL NEVER ADMIT ITS TRUE.

3. Her family pleaded with my many times to keep it secret, hoping we can work a change, and they now deny it all, saying am lying.

4. She claims not to trust me with our daughter, and i have over 3,000 pictures and videos i made showing a loving relationship i had with our daughter from birth to 1 year 4 months i was with our daughter, then came home to find and empty house. No furniture, nothing, zilt, zero...

I can go on and on.

The reason I said maybe it would have worked if they had attended mediation earlier is because now both sides have become entrenched in their views and wont back down.

My partner feels that he has been more than fair, hasnt got anything else to give and does more than enough to provide for his children, but she is convinced that she is ''entitled to more'' doesnt appear to have actually looked at boths side financial situation. Just decided she needs more money and its my partner responisibility to fill the gap.

With CM, WTC and CB she recieves £650 a month for the children and earns £30,000 a year on top but apparently she can't afford the £75 childcare costs and is expecting my partner to pay this as well as 20% of his income with no discount for nights the children stay with him!!
