Boredom in marriage

I'm a journalist writing a piece for women's magazine, Prima and
looking for a particular case study and wondering if you can help. The
article is on boredom in marriages and I'm looking for a divorced or
separated woman who has regrets that they didn't work harder on the
marriage and tackle issues while they were in it.
It would involve a short interview over the phone and we would like a
photograph to accompany it.

Incidentally, I'm one of those fellas who has been at the sharp end of ridiculous accusations of 'being boring'. Well, I might be boring, but I've also been honest, reliable, faithful, and hard working. And I don't think I'm that bad looking either (not to mention ironic). Looking back, my ex has been uncommunicative and difficult.

If things are 'boring' then it's down to one side to have the bollox to do something about it, and not just be miserable and claim everything is the fault of the other party.

Just my 2p.

I think this article is exactly about women who wish they had worked harder at their marriages and sorted things out rather than opting for divorce.

Whilst I agree that it would also be good to have the male perspective, this request is from a magazine aimed at women. Unfortunately these sort of articles tend not to appear in magazine aimed at the male mag-buying population.

We do have our own wikizine here though and if anyone would like to write something for that, I am sure the editor (Shezi) would be delighted to hear from you.

Boring isnt so bad mate. I know loads of women that would take boring over exciting anyday. If someone is kicking the sh1t out of you everyday or running off with half the women of the town, boring looks good...

Dont confuse boring with hard-working, is there for his family and doesnt mess about. That to me isnt boring. I suspect that this is actually what you were accused of. Anyway, I wouldnt take anything at face value yr ex said. My ex said loads of tosh to me. But it was all bolox mate. C.
