Can i reduce CO maintainance or need to go back to

I now have established overnight contact for alternate weekends and some of the holidays. This now amounts to over the 52 night threshold.

Can i reduce the maintainance automatically(CO says can be reduced iaw CSA calculation) or have i to go through the court to reduce it. I would like to approach ex but she will be very defensive about it. I need the money to have days outwith the kids. Ex has bled me dry and i am struggling financially. Know she will ­object­ and might stop overnight. Going the mediation/court route at the moment and she is starting to be a bit more flexible as I think she realises the inevitable but will kepp overnight to maximise the maintainance, i dont ­object­ to maintainance but the boys need to have a life with their father and not just the free museums all the time, love spending time with the kids but want to do more if finances allow, Any advice please.

What does the court order state ? It sounds odd that an order would only allow for reductions in line with changes in the law or CSA calculations (Does the order also allow for increases?). In either case if it is in the order then you don't need to return to court.
Best practice would be to advise your ex in writing that your are adjusting payments in line with the court order and CSA calculations from (date), give as much advance warning as possible so they can make appropriate adjustments to their budget.

co states "such payment to be varied in accordance with the relevant child support agency/child maintainancve and enforcement commission provisions until each child shall cease full-time secondary education or further order"
