business that I worked so hard to keep going for no financial reward over
many years. I can have my own career now.
Goodbye to all the crappy furniture/junk that you took
from our home. I have had much pleasure finding my own style and design
which was always bubbling inside me.
Goodbye to
the "square" family car that you didn't let me drive unless I was doing an
errand for you. I have made a very wise choice on an economical car and put
in my own fluffy dice because I can.
Goodbye
to our lovely family dog who died in the beginning of the divorce process.
He was loved very much and no other dog can replace his loyalty or
protective nature.
Goodbye to our holiday home
in the sun which I diligently furnished. It was to be our retirement fund
but you have decided you want to keep it for yourself. It holds sad and
painful memories for me that I let go of.
Goodbye to the plans we made to make our home
comfortable and warm.
Goodbye to all the money
you have spent on yourself and not on the well-being of our relationship or
family. This includes all the holidays you have taken abroad alone. Money
won't ever make you happy.
Goodbye to you. I
let you go from my life as I was replaced by another mug before
separation.
Goodbye to the promises you made "as soon as we" which
you quickly changed into promises for your own self-fulfillment and
satisfaction.
Goodbye to the debts, they are
your debts not mine.
Goodbye to needing you. I
have found out on this journey that I don't need anyone else to find
happiness and self-worth.
The last ones are positive ones, for
they are goodbyes to the negatives;
Goodbye to
the feelings of enslavement.
Goodbye to your
continual farting.
Goodbye to your porn films.
Goodbye to your body smell.
Goodbye to your uncaring family.
Goodbye
to my parents who betrayed me when I needed them most.
Goodbye to a small amount of your friends who I never
liked anyway.
Goodbye to your views, beliefs and
values on everything in life, I have found my own.
Goodbye to your lack of respect and your lack of love,
your lack of direction, your lack of creativity, your lack of appreciation,
your lack of sensitivity.
Goodbye to your emotional,
verbal and financial abuse (call it what you want, I know what you did).
Goodbye to your old-fashioned ways.
Goodbye
to the lies you told about me, the stalking, the lack of any
privacy in my life.
