legal aid and household income

Hi there

I am currently going through family proceedings with my ex wife for Shared Residence of my children.

She has claimed legal aid when she has over £20k savings.

Her brother also lives in the same house as her. For her to cliam I hear that 'household income' needs to be taken into account. Does that mean his income and assets, as well as her mum's should be disclosed?

(To be clear she lives in her mum's house with mum and brother).

As long as a partner isn't the opponent a partner's income, rather than household income, is taken into account when assessing eligibility for Legal Aid.

Am I correct that if she has over £20k savings that she shouldn't be eligible to claim for it?
