I would like to say thank you to Ian, Amanda and all the people here on
Wiki that keep it up and running and offering the service and support that
you do.
At times it seems that people miss the big picture
regarding Wiki.
This site offers not only answers to legal
queries but support and kindness from its members and the people who run
it.
This is a safe and friendly site that I and many others have
been lucky enough to find.
Ian, Amanda and all the others that
help to make it what it is are people.
They don't do all this
for money but from being kind hearted, caring people.
Life as we
all know is full of people who think only of themselves and most of us have
experienced them at some time or other.
So when caring souls
like you come our way it can be difficult for some to understand, they
doubt your sincerity as people such as yourselves are few and far
between. They question your motives and as they have been hurt in the
past are reluctant to lower their guard.
These people in time
will appreciate as I and many like me do, the effort, time and support you
unstintingly give. For this and much more I would like to say Thank
You.

Hear hear Dawn....
Could I just add that those wiki types that I
have met in the real world are just as kind, supportive and caring in the
flesh as they appear on the site.
It is natural to question the
notion of a 'free lunch', and being the natural cynic that I am, I would
always look for the catch in anything that looks to good to be true.
Usually if it looks to good to be true, it probably is.
However,
as a truly independant person with no axe to grind, and no commercial
involvement or attachment to the site (other than to feed my addiction),
having met both Ian and Amanda, I can honestly say that they are genuine
people, who have a vision of changing the system, so that those that follow
us down this murky path will have a damned site easier time than others
that came before us.
So cut them some slack - please!
To all those other selfless peeps that regularly offer such warmth,
comfort and practical help and advice to some very bewildered and hurt
people - Thank you
Mike
