Parental Alienation

What is best way to handle children that are being alienated by their mother on their father and his partner of three years? How can you talk to the children about it? Or do you just do nothing?

I really can't answer, but am in a similar situation in a way but the other way round. My children who live with me have been alienated by their father and his new partner and all his family and I find it heartbreaking.

I shall be watching the answers with interest

I find the best policy is honesty.
Have your own relationship with the kids,that way they spot the manipulation.
Also like I say well your mother hates me she ain't gonna say anything good about me.Laughing of course brings a levity to the situation.
My kids want to come and live with me,i'm like well you live with your mum,doubt i'd get the house returned with em you see.Anyways the harridan is saying to them why do you want to live with him he's horrible all he cares about is money.Me daughtered volunteered that btw,I just laugh and go well she would say that she hates me.Then they laugh and we watch some more old rubbish on the disney channel or summit.
Just keep it relaxed.

It's terrible. I have been made out to be a ranting lunatic by stbx wife. I live with my partner and he has his children 50% of the time. 99% of the time is super and the n of course there is the off time I have to deal with a bad attitude or cheek. Dear help me I am a raving lunatic with a temper like no other!!! Completely untrue. OK for me to get all 3 children's school uniforms, shoes, bags, pens etc while she jets off on hols. My poor partner is a wonderful father and the eldest after us being together over 3 years hasn't been back and is sending my partner nasty texts about how she has lost her because of me and how he'll probably lose the others. Funny she wasn't saying that when she was crying on myshoulder about her friends, school, being given treats and money etc. All fully condoned and revelled by the mother

My ex has told my kids such crap that they wont have anything to do with me now. There both old enough to decide for themselves, so not much I can do. Sympathy to your bloke.
