Statement of arrangments 1 Year, 11 Months ago
|
|
Hi
My partner is getting divorced, the papers have been sent to
the court, awaiting the STBX to respond. She has said she wants to write
her own statement of arrangements as she disagreed with what he had
written. What does this mean and when does she need to do it? She has not
responded to the court yet to papers that were sent on the 2nd March.
Thanks

She is entitled to write her own statement of arrangments if she disagrees
with what has been said.
When your partenr completes his
Affivait he will have the opportunity to confirm wither that his original
SofA is corrct or, if appropraite, to confirm any changes to the
arragngements.
So far as the divorce is concered, she is
supposed to return the acknowlegment within 7 days of receiving it. If she
has not done so, it would be open to your partner to apply for her to be
persoanlly served, however in practice I would suggest giving her a little
more time.
