If you use the wiki service they will do all the forms for you, the form that goes with the consent order is called statement of information for consent (D81) its quick and easy to complete, basically its assets and income for you both, this is needed so the judge considering the order can make sure the agreement falls within mca s25.

If your ex decides not to use a solicitor the judge may question the him/her to make sure the understand what they are agreeing too, you will be fine as you will have the wiki solicitor, the wiki peeps will explain how it all works before you pay the dosh, or you can call the wiki helpline and one of the guys will talk you through it.

Don`t worry too much about this, my own order was questioned by the judge, my ex and i went to court and the hearing lasted about seven minutes, the order was sealed and it was over.

Your ex lives a long way off so in his/her case they would ask to talk to the judge on the phone rather than appear in court, this is becoming the norm these days even with directions hearings, one of the better changes made recently.

You need to submit a simplified disclosure, Form D81, with the consent order.

I was e-mailed the forms by the solicitor. I didn't know that it still may be a problem with the judge wanting to see pension stuff, we both have very small pensions and had no savings. We were amicable but are now less so.

If D81 is incomplete it will be questioned by the judge, the judge has a duty to make sure to people divorcing and agreeing a financial settlement are both aware of assets available before agreeing and dismissing future claims.

After 7 months!

It's getting to the point now where the NISI has been in place for so long we're in danger of needing an affidavit to continue to the ABSOLUTE as we're approaching the 12 month statue of limitations

My ex had to pay the pension people £180.00 to get it through quicker after waiting for months and months with no luck. (shame he didn't apply for it when I told him he needed it and we would have been divorced 6 months ago ... moan moan moan lol)

Think maybe that might have to happen here too - they've already told her there will be a cost if they need to contact a third party (though Lord knows who that "third party" could be!)

How come my own (private) pension folks can supply such a simple figure within a few days yet it takes this shower more than half a year?!? It can hardly be an isolated request that they have never had to deal with before

The delay also means I need to get up-to-date values from my pension folks as they're now more than 6 months out of date!
