So. You split up, you have joint bank accounts, joint child benefit, tax
credits etc. Its a mess to untangle. Then, your ex turns up at your work
threatening you, you lose your job, or you lose clients if you are self
employed because of slander. Or he turns language student away at the door
because he wants you to default on the mortgage he refuses to pay. This
list is endless, depends how creative an abusive ex can be. The latest is
lying to tax credits about who the children live with....so I am left with
£60 from my meagre job per week to live on with two children to support and
a huge mortgage he refuses to pay.
my question: will my bank
recognise 'financial harassment'? My direct debits will not be paid, they
will charge me, and I not eligible for a loan.
Any advice evry
gratefully received X
