Hi i tried the divorce calculator but but despite me having less income and me having the children 6 days a week i get no maintanence can you tell me where i am going wrong? see calculation below

I can't comment on the calculator generally but as you are the priomary carer for 2 childnre you would be entitled to claim around £290 per month in child maintenance, ­base­d on these figures.

There is no automatic assumpton of an entitlement for spousal maintenance and in negotiating with your ex you will need to consider whether you feel it would be better to have a higher lump sum/share of the house or to have a smaller proportion of the assets but perhaps have some ongoing maintenace also.

I see that the calculator is suggesting you might have 70% of the capital assets - i would not normally expect to see spousal maintenace as well as that type of capital split.
