Hi, I wonder if anybody can help with DIY wording to question 7a Does your spouse pay towards the upkeep of the children?

as my STBX has agreed to pay all upkeep would

The respondent has agreed to pay all of the upkeep of my child.

be correct to write on the form or suggestion please?

Is he the father or step father? Either way I think I might consider "All children of the family are accommodated and maintained by the Respondent"

Don't get too worked up about this form, obviously you don't want to lie but it is only an overview. When you get to sort out the finances Form E goes into this stuff thoroughly.

Just pondering this - does your ex pay for everything or do you mean day to day stuff, Do you go halves on school trips, do you buy her make up, underwear and tampons for example? If so we will have to rethink the wording.

He's her father and pays for everything.

I buy her stuff when we're together, clothes etc, holidays together but it's an informal arrangement. If I am asked to contribute and I can afford to then I do. Any further thoughts about the wording. I thought the D8A was the final arrangements, guess I'll have to look into the process once this is submitted.

D8a is not formal it just gives the judge an idea of where the child will be who is looking after them if they will go to the same school ect, don`t worry about this and if the arrangements change you don`t need to inform court.
