Re:Does the truth come out in a final hearing ?

Can someone please please re-assure me that the truth will come out in a final hearing. My final hearings are scheduled for the end of January, and have just seen the final statement, which contradicts so many things said previously. ie :

A year ago his mortgage borrowing capacity was over £200,000, now he can only get £130,000

His employers were fully supportive that he could work from home - not now apparently, he is going to reduce his salary

House value - middle of last year over £330,000, December 2011 suddenly he wants to agree a value of £310,000 - statement received last week, suddenly he has upped it to £330,000 again !

Will the judge pick up on these things and query them ??

From my experience the judge doesn't pick up anything! Unless you can prove that he is manipulating the figures and even then he will probably get away with it. The saying "The Law
Is an Ass" is right I'm afraid.

Judges don`t know the people before them so they rely on evidence on paper, that is what is important particularly in a final hearing, people tell fibs and often accuse each other of all sorts.

If its on paper then the judge will give it due consideration.

I feel for you, it's just not fair is it when you know that people are blatantely lying and may get away with it.

I don'yt know about the jusge, as I too will have my final hearing.

But, I do you wish you lots and lots of luck and hope that justice and honesty will see you through.
