What happens if wife doesnt apply for decree nisi

Hello there,
We have turned to this site in the hope somebody can explain what to do. We have spent all our savings on finally getting to see my partners boys and now want the divorce sorted but are having to do it alone due to costs.
Everything has been done as his wife started the divorce she has then stopped after we have done everything required of us. It had got to the stage of her applying for the decree Nisi she now refuses to do this and finds it amusing when he asks. Do we have to start the whole process again with my Partner being the Petitioner? We understand if the decree Nsi had been applied for we could apply for the Decree Absoulute after 3 months but not sure when Nisi has not been applied for. Thank you for any advice or guidance in advance it is stressing my partner out so much with her games.

Thank you will enquire at the court if possible. if this is even if she has not completed and filing two documents, a ‘request for directions for trial’ and an ‘affidavit in support of petition’.

Hi,
I am in the same situation. Can the court really pronounce decree nisi even if the petitioner has not signed/sworn the direction for trial and the affidavit.

Need some advice how it can be done.
