picking up from school, ideas please

hi guys,
the latest episode in my world of my son.
i go to pick him up from school twice a week, i have been doing this since october, sometimes he doesnt come with me because his mum is still there when i go to pick him up. i have asked her not to go so he knows to come with me. anyway..... i have been to pick him up on momday and wednesday this week....on monday he wouldnt come with me saying he told me not to pick him up, he didnt say this to me. so i gave him a kiss and went home.
however...yesterday i went to pick him up and he wouldnt stay still. i went over to give him a kiss and he just ran away saying stop following me. i asked what was wrong, he didnt answer, so i walked towards him again and he ran away from me.
i dont understand why he did this, when i ask him does he want me to pick him up from school he says yes.

has anybody any ideas why this is suddenly happening?

how do i stop this happening.

is he showing off for his mum and best friend.

is he playing us off agianst each other.

when this happens his mum does and says nothing.

its very upsetting that all of a sudden that thuis has started to happen.

i did think that as his best friends dad doesnt see him and he was horrible to his mum was a possible reason, but i would like to think that it isnt anything to do with that.

how do i get back on track because if i stop going to pick him up from school his mum has said she wont drop him off. shes not helping me, she just say its his choice, his life, his decisions.

any ideas would be fantastic please.

Being kissed in the playground is a no-no for boys, even little ones, so maybe it's that.

I totally agree with Carrie- it's not you he's ­object­ing to- it's the kiss!
Leave him be, small boys hate being kissed in front of their friends. Greet him in another way!

i dont kiss him when i get him, i only kiss him to say goodbye when he doesnt come with me from school.

Does the ex have a valid reason to be at the school, collecting another child or just being difficult?

Have you a contact order or in the process of getting one?
