Re:Fathers address

This never occured to me untill it was pointed out. When my children vist there father i dont know where they go and have no contact address for them.

Would say i have a right to know where my children reside when staying with there father ?

It would be nice to know, and a good idea, but you do not have a right to know. Is there a reason why you can't assk or he wouldn't tell you?

Do you know the area where he lives, is he local or lives miles away? he probably just likes to have his little secret, unless there is a good reason why he thinks you shouldn't know where he lives.

Depending on how old the child/ren is/are, sometimes you just have to listen to what they say, where they've been whilst in his care etc.

When he has the children he takes them to his gfs flat in yorkshire, we live in the north east.

My children are 7 and 6 and no i dont drive

OK I'm a bloke so forgive me, but does it really matter? I wouldn't tell my X but that was because I wouldn't put it past her to turn up to inspect the premises. Do you trust your X to look after the kids?

Does your ex know what your children do and where they go when they are with you? Having Parental responsibility means each parent can unilaterally decide what activities the children do and who they see in the parent's contact time.

However, it isn't unreasonable for a parent to know where their children are sleeping at night and if courts are making an order often a condition is attached that parents inform each other where the children are staying. The exception to that is when there is a history of the parent interfering with contact or pestering.
