I have a shared
residency order (by
consent)for our 3 children (8, 7 and 3) pending a full Psychiatric
assessment of my ex wife. She was sectioned under mental health act in 2008
and has had 3 relapses, all requiring hospitalisation. Most recent was in
Jan. 2012 - kids were about 3 hours away from returning to her care when I
got call from Psychiatric hospital. All relapses have been due to her not
taking her medications.
Question is this, as judge has ordered a
full psychiatric assessment which she is paying for in order to determine
suitability of shared residency and risk levels to children -
1.
should I have any input in deciding who the Psychiatrist should be?
2.
a forwarded instruction letter from her lawyer arrived by email on the same
day as her assessment. It did not say ANYTHING AT ALL about her relapses
but rather that I was the cause of her recent relapse hence her not taking
meds. Can I
contact the Psychiatrist to
provide this medical history even though the assessment has already been
done but the report is not yet done?
I am a Litigant in
Person.
Thank you
