Your options are then;
- Face facts, the court
know, no one has tried to stop her. Strange though that in the middle of an
application for
contact, the ex moves and
nobody does anything about it?
- You can make an application to
the court for a prohibitive steps order, based on the fact that
you see this as a move to counteract your
contact application. This
may or not be successful as the court are aware that she is moving. However
this is a difficult one as you have not had any contact for such a long
time and the court may see it as you interfering with her life. I would
suggest that you are on a loser here. Unless you can prove that it is not
in the best interests of the child and that the move is malicious, that she
does not have a job etc.....
As for the future, I think it is
going to be difficult for you. After such a long time of not seeing the
kids, they (CAFCASS, SS) are not going to want you jumping straight back in
to the child's life. You will probably be looking at contact session's at a
centre, close to the new home.
I know that is not what you want
to hear, but it is the way of the world.
