corrupt solictiors

My divorce was conducted under the auspices of the SFLA, with my solicitor and my wife's both members.
I spent a year telling the courts my wife was going to move out of the area. In November 2003 the courts awarded 80% of the equity to her, then 43 days later she moved out of the area, leaving me with my son, no money no job and no daughter. There were financial irregularity to the tune of £50,000 on her part.I put it back into the courts and was fined £2000 for abuse of process(trying to keep my children together).
The solicitor who represented her covered the finical irregularities if not was complicit in them. I started with a complaint to the SFLA to find out that he wasn't a member although his web site had been advertising as such, over the next year I discovered that ALL his claimed qualifications were lies. I complained to the Law Society, who saw his false representation as an oversight.

You have had an awful experience and I wholly sympathise with that.

But to suggest a whole profession is corrupt because of a bad apple is wrong and shows a lack of precise and analytical thought.

The Law Society covered for this Guy, the Legal Complaints service refused to investigate because the Law Society had already done so.

So He claimed:

To be an Accredited Mediator for the SFLA: a lie
To be a member of the UK college of Family Mediators: a lie
To be a member of the Law Society Family Panel: A Lie
His Degree: A Lie
Investigated by solicitors: NO PROBLEM
YOUR Corrupt. No other section of society could get away with this.

It is also inapproriate for you to name indivuals on a forum who have done wrong by you - others may not have had the same experience as you.

I suspect that this posted wont be on here for too long - posts that tar all solicitors with the same dirty brush are not good, in every barrel of apples, there will be one rotten one, the rest are not.

In posts like this, they only serve for you to publicy air your personal gripes with one indivual, that is not the purpose of this forum.

Solicitors and the Adversarial system in divorce is destroying families in this country. No checks and balances against rouge solicitors, how do you describe it?
