I confess I posted this link to see what the reaction would be, but I
certainly didn't expect such head-in-the-sand denial. That this may not be
your own experience doesn't make it any less real. I am familiar with the
cases referred to and can vouch for Nadine's veracity. Obviously the cases
can't be identified, so you will have to take them on trust, but they are
absolutely genuine.
We haven't gone in search of these cases, so
although they cannot be held up as typical they are certainly not unique:
this really is what is going on in our Family Courts, whether you choose to
believe it or not.
The article is neither extremist nor
political, though it is a response to extremism and calls for a political
solution. To suggest that the scandalous situation described is somehow
acceptable because 'people are not perfect' is appalling - just how
imperfect do people have to be before it becomes unacceptable? Using a
contact centre (now closed)
to groom children for a lesbian paedophile ring goes beyond the 'ugly,
complicated and messy'. Surely? Perhaps you have a stronger stomach than
I have, but I was shocked by this. It isn't fiction. It involved real
children (I can name some of them). They could very well have been ours.
Isn't it time we all woke up?
