Well Joy, I am one of those TRAMPS. There are 2 sides to every story.
Marriage is an outmoded, biased, hypocritical sore on the backside
of society, but it comes with responsibilities. If the wife of the person I
'slept with' in my role as a TRAMP (I have been called worse, believe me!)
had taken hers seriously, perhaps her husband wouldn't have bothered with a
TRAMP.
I agree with the original poster and am glad he has said
most of it. It needed saying.
I would temper it though and say
that my solicitor was an extremely nice, pleasant chap, very well
qualified, very well respected and downright bl**dy useless! I am being
thrown out of my home, with 2 kids, by court order, after 18 years of
misery with the ex, no access to his pension a feeble 54% of the proceeds
and he didn't pay a penny in maintenance for 2 years which I had to sort
out myself!
It is the whole system which is inadequate and
corrupt, not individuals. But it needs saying that my sister has spent
thousands of pounds on
solicitors and barristers who gave
inconsistent, incorrect advice, and I am still left with a rubbish
settlement and a 7 year old to bring up. That money w ent of foreign
holidays and cars for my solicitor.
The whole system is WRONG
WRONG WRONG.
How, pray, was he doing his job which he stated was
'to stand up for you'????
