I do no think that a new partner's income should be taken into
consideration. I pay my own way in life and do not expect anyone to pay
for me. At the moment I am having to subsidise my partner and bring up our
child (he can't afford to pay anything towards her). We live in a one
bedroom flat while his ex lives in a 3 bedroom house with one child which
she can afford to do because she receives £850 a month from him. It seems
to me that ex wives are more important than children. I am sure in many
cases(not all) the women that get SM have a far better standard of life
than the new partner as it is the new partner that has to subsidise the
other so their ex's can have good holidays and great social lives. I think
that if you are
not married you should not
take into account the others income.
