I think I'm one of the lucky ones - I went without reading a book for only
a little more than a month before I knew I needed to start reading
again!
I take the bus to and from work everyday, so a book in my
bag is an
absolute must! The library is my friend.
I
often go to the library unsure what I'm looking for - it really does depend
on my mood - other days, I have an appetite for certain types of
books and I go specifically looking for
certain authors.
I like crime fiction, I've read all of Sue
Grafton and most of Patricia Cornwell and Elizabeth George of Inspector
Lynley fame. And Ruth Rendell...
One of my favourites is by
Elizabeth George, called 'What Came Before He Shot Her'. It is now well
over a year since I read that book and it sort of sticks with me,
especially since I read it 'out of order' in the series of
books.
Just finished reading
'That's Another Story' by Julie Walters. It was a funny, light read,
enjoyable.
