Ok next question ..
On page 8,
question 2.8 (haven't got very far have I!)
I am to list things
I own of value over £500 so my car is going there, but do I also list xh's
car and the table he took from the FMH or do I just list my car? ie they were the same
cars we had when together and there are no loans on them, his is worth four
times mine at least.
And, if I do list the car he drives do I
explain in that bit that xh has that car and I have mine to drive?

Oh i think your doing well, its not an easy form to complete,
Stick to your own stuff not his, so just your car, bear in mind its items
that can be sold for £500 or more so use the value that you could sell the
item for not what you paid for it,

Ok, next question (sorry!) ..
on
page 9 question 2.9 liabilities, I have a bank loan in which I borrowed a
sum we'll call it A, and it gives me the total sum of money that I will
eventually pay back as being B which is obviously a lot higher than A.
So, how do I work out what I owe now, the way I have written it is
I have taken all of the payments made to date off the figure B, leaving
exactly what I have left to pay, is that right?
(That figure is
higher than the amount I originally borrowed because it includes the
interest I will be paying back)
If thats not right, I can easily
print out another page 9 to do it right

You do know i charge £50 per question right?
You need to state
what you owe at the time form E is completed, give them a call and ask for
a settlement figure, they should just give it to you over the phone no
problem.

Re:Form E questions 2 Years ago

A totally different kind of question about my
form E, this stems from my constant worries about the future regarding
finances and housing having been homeless in the last yr and finances being
so uncertain. How do I portray in form E how changeable my finances are?
For instance
If my health improves my DLA will go
if my health improves my housing benefit will lower (I get
disability premiium atm)
if ds2 gets a job I become liable for
75% council tax (I am exempt atm due to being full time student)
at the end of June when I am no longer a student I will lose council tax
exemption etc.
at the ende of June my student finance ends
we are in uncertain rented accommodation (owner waiting till market
picks up before selling, could be any time) and then I will have deposits
and rent in advance to pay as well as moving costs etc. and being in rented
I may have to move regularly so these costs may reaccur regularly
I'm sorry I just feel so panicky and dismall about my future and the
worries that I'll be homeless with the children and/or not manage is making
me ill and filling in this form E is making me worse because I can't seem
to portray the uncertainty and changeability of my outgoings or potential outgoings

Hello
I don`t know the detail of your matter so its not easy to
answer,
What can happen is if your financial situation is
precarious and your spouse has a stronger position you may have a nominal
SM order or SM at a rate agreed/imposed, this depends on respective income
children and length of marriage,
if you have a nominal order
this keeps the door open for an upward variation should your circumstances
deteriorate, think of it as a safety net.
