As well as Relationship Counselling and Family Mediation, Relationships Scotland supports a variety of other family support services: Child Contact Centres, Groups for adults and Groups for children.
The first Child Contact Centres were opened in Scotland in 1988. Family Mediation Lothian and One Parent Families Scotland were the first to provide the service. Since then there has been an expansion in the number of Centres. Currently, there are 38 established Scottish Child Contact Centres that are run by a variety of voluntary organisations.
